THE LAST OF SUMMER

Summer is quickly slipping away, but we hope you've made the
most of it by enjoying vacations, swimming, golf, cooking out,
and treating yourself at Peterson's. If not, there's still time to
stop by for great new dining room entrees and bar menu eats.

We're pleased to announce that effective August 2nd, Shaun
Slinkard will become Peterson's new Assistant GM/Wine Director.
Shaun possesses a great knowledge of wines and is pursuing his
Sommelier Certification. His previous experience at Sullivan's
and Fleming's, along with his passion for service, ensures that
he will be an excellent addition to our staff.

As you know, your support of Peterson's helps us to support the
community by giving to many local charities. We recently gave gift
certificates to Prevail's Reds, Whites, and Blues, who are advocates
for victims of crime and abuse, in support of their event at the
Ritz Charles on August 29th. During the month of August, we will
also be participating in the Annual Harvest Auction for Second
Helpings, the Cornea Research Foundation Annual Golf Tournament,
and helping the Julian Center to support victims of domestic violence.

Thank you for your continued patronage, we hope you enjoy
every ounce of sunshine that summer still has to offer and
remember what fall brings... FOOTBALL. Colts Camp starts

Heartland Distillers, our next door neighbors, has produced an
excellent new gin. Founded in 2008, they are Indiana's first new
distillery since Prohibition. Founder Stuart Hobson had a vision to
renew Indiana's 200 year old distilling heritage which largely died
out during Prohibition. His vision was to again produce high-quality
spirits using some of the best ingredients found in Indiana.

The Dominus, Napa 2007 is here! You don't want to miss
out on this outstanding wine. It has received amazing reviews
as well as a 98 point rating from Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

nose of incense, cedar wood, black currants, black cherries,
licorice, and a subtle hint of roasted herbs, it is an expansive,

and it's a success! Each week, we bring in a unique new brew.

Wine Spectator's Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants
whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate
to their cuisine, and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

Qualifying for the award for the past nine years has been difficult,
but sharing our knowledge and love of wines with you, our customers,
is easy. Please come and celebrate this award with us. Cheers!

Please make plans to join us on Wednesday, August 25th
from 6pm to 8pm for our next wine tasting event.

The price per person will be $25 plus sales tax and gratuity and
